The Reverend Stoddon G.N. King, Senior Minister
Tod King was called to the Orange Congregational Church in September 1985 as our 25th Senior Minister. He comes from a long line of ministers and is the fifth King in three generations to be ordained to the Christian ministry. Tod was born and reared in Farmington, Connecticut, where his father was senior minister for nineteen years. The family moved to Wayzata, Minnesota, in 1957. Tod graduated from high school in 1961 and the University of Minnesota in 1965, majoring in Psychology. Following college, Tod was commissioned an ensign in the U.S. Navy, serving four years in destroyers and one year in Vietnam. Tod resigned his commission in 1970 to enter Harvard Divinity School from which he received his Master of Divinity degree in 1973. Since then, he has served churches in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Shaker Heights, Ohio, Wheaton, Maryland and now Orange. Tod and his wife, Patricia, have a son, Stuart, who graduated from Susquehanna University in Pennsylvania in 2009. Tod has a great interest in things nautical including sailing, is an avid reader of history, plays tennis regularly and loves to hear Patricia, a trained soprano, sing. He also enjoys good humor . . . look at his cartoon board at the church! Patricia and Tod's travel highlights were two trips to Israel, and in April 2006, two weeks in China during his sabbatical.

The Reverend Lee Ireland, Associate Minister
Lee Ireland was called to the Orange Congregational Church in August 2008 as our Associate Minister. Lee is a graduate of the University of Maine, majoring in French and German. She received her Masters of Divinity from Andover Newton Theological School and was ordained by the First Congregational Church of New London in 1995. She also received certification through the two-year Spiritual Direction Practicum offered at Mercy Center in Madison, CT. Lee has served as an Interim Minister for eight churches ranging in size from less than 50 to more than 700 members. She also has served as a student chaplain at York Correctional Institute and an on-call chaplain at Yale/New Haven Hospital. Lee has led several retreats of the Eastern District Women's Fellowship of the UCC at Camp Wightman, confirmation retreats for the CT Conference, and women's retreats for other denominations.
Lee has two children, Tim and Lani, a daughter-in-law, Ali, and two granddaughters, Michaela and Adrienne. Lee recently moved from Niantic to West Haven. She loves to walk along the seashore, hike, garden, and visit with folks.

Bryan Campbell, Music Director
Bryan Campbell was called to the Orange Congregational Church in October 2006. Prior to joining the staff at Orange, he served the First Congregational Church of Cheshire, the First Presbyterian Church of Fairfield, and the Trumbull Congregational Church.
Bryan Campbell is a gifted organist, teacher, and choral director.  He was graduated from Kent State University and the Yale University schools of music.  He also completed the certificate program of the Institute of Sacred Music of the Yale Divinity School where he was awarded the Edwin Seder prize for organ playing.  Bryan was engaged to perform solo concerts on the organs of the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C., St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York, and Trinity Church Copley Square in Boston.  In 1993 he performed at the St. Johanniskirche in Ansbach, Germany at the invitation of the German government.  He teaches vocal music in the Cheshire Public Schools.  Bryan has been a guest speaker at many music conferences, including the 2004 and 2006 Connecticut Music Educators conventions.  He is a past-dean of the New Haven Chapter of the American Guild of Organists.

Elizabeth Cliff Rafferty, Youth Director
Beth Rafferty grew up in Needham, Massachusetts, as an active member of the youth group at Christ Episcopal Church. She graduated from Hartwick College in Oneonta, New York, in 1986, with a BA in Sociology. Following her graduation, Beth worked for two years in advertising before moving to Connecticut in 1988 to take a job in marketing. In 1990, Beth married John Rafferty, Jr. Beth and John have two daughters, Kelli and Caroline. Kelli is sixteen and active in the Pilgrim Fellowship, and Caroline is ten.
In her ongoing commitment to her community, Beth has taught at Christ Episcopal Church in Ansonia and started a Junior Volunteer program at an animal shelter in Woodbridge, helping 9-17 year olds organize and run fundraising events and community awareness activities.
After the birth of Caroline, Beth decided to make a career change and focus on what she loves to do . . . working with teenagers. In October 2001, Beth was called to be the Youth Director at Orange Congregational Church. In her time with us, she has developed a ministry for church youth with Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County, lead youth retreats and mission trips, initiated a bi-monthly discussion group for youth on current social issues, and lent her boundless energy and enthusiasm to countless activities and gatherings. Her gifts and talents are a blessing to our children and to our life together.
