Why Give?
A Spiritual Practice
We believe that practicing gratitude and generosity is central to a faith-filled life. Sharing of our time, talents, and money with others builds community, brings joy, and can be liberating. When we give, we remember that all of life and everything we have is God’s gift to us. In generously sharing our resources for the ministry of Christ's church, we participate in building up the realm of God's love and justice for all.
As you ponder your gift, donation, or pledge to the church, first ask God in prayer: How much or in what ways am I being called to give? How am I being asked to respond to your call in my life?
Ways to Give
An intentional, regular, and generous practice of giving helps both the church and our spiritual lives to grow and flourish. In both time that is volunteered and in funds that are donated, we thank you for giving to Orange Congregational Church!

Our 2022 Stewardship theme, “From Bread and Cup to Faith and Giving,” connects God’s generosity in the gift of His Son to our stewardship as a spiritual discipline. The Communion Table represents God’s pure and unconditional love for us. Our partaking of the bread and the grape of the vine symbolizes the presence of the Living Christ and our commitment to become a giving people. God calls us to be stewards of our resources for love, for justice, for freedom, and for every possibility of blessing in this world.
Our faithful financial stewardship supports the broad mission and ministry of Orange Congregational Church as we bring the spiritual practice of generosity both inside and outside the sanctuary.
Your prayers and your participation with gifts of time, talent, and resources help us to sustain our commitment to live in God’s ways of love for all as we plan for our church's ministries and budget in 2023.
